Second shooter photos, one album: collaborators on AccioPix

Photos from a second shooter belong in the same album as the lead photographer's. Guests do not care which camera took the picture. On AccioPix, you send the second shooter one invite link. They sign in with Google, and their uploads go straight into your event. A guest who sends a selfie gets their photos from both cameras in one WhatsApp message. You pay for the uploads within a budget you set.

The second shooter, defined

A second shooter is an extra photographer at an event, usually a wedding. They cover the groom while the lead photographs the bride. They shoot the wide view during the vows. They work the far side of the reception. Second shooter photography doubles the coverage. Until now it doubled the delivery problem, because the pictures sat in two folders on two laptops.

Collaborators, defined

A collaborator is another AccioPix account you permit to upload to one of your events. They use the upload page you use. It gives them the same RAW support, the same in-browser compression, and the same face indexing. When a guest sends a selfie, photos from both of you arrive in one WhatsApp message.

The things a collaborator cannot do matter just as much. They cannot rename the event. They cannot alter the message guests receive. They cannot delete photos, swap the cover, invite others, or view your other events. They upload and they look. All the rest stays with you.

Collaborators have replaced the free guest upload link that AccioPix once offered. Guests still get their photos with a selfie just as before. Now, only the people you choose can upload.

Inviting a second shooter takes one link

There is no email to send and nothing for them to install.

1. Head into the event and click Add collaborators. Find it in the links rail on the upload page. It is also under Collaborators in the event panel on your dashboard.

2. Copy the invite link, or share it on WhatsApp using the button beside it. The text explains what the link does.

3. They open it and sign in with Google. That is all it takes to accept. They arrive directly at the upload page for the event and start adding photos. If they were logged out, Google sends them back to the same link afterwards.

4. You will see their name in your list. That panel shows who has joined. It lists how many photos each person put in and what that cost. Beside each name is a Remove button.

The second shooter's view

They see the event on their dashboard under Shared with you. A banner on the upload page states who owns the event. In place of their own credits, they see how many photos remain on your budget. They cannot edit the name or the guest message, and the cover cannot be changed. Duplicate detection still works. If you both upload the same frame, it is stored and billed once.

Who pays, and the budget

You do, at the normal rate of ₹0.20 per photo, from your balance. Nobody has to hand credits back and forth. To keep that predictable, every event has a collaborator budget: 1,000 credits by default, which is about 5,000 photos. Change it in the same panel, up or down, at any time. When the budget is used up, or your balance runs out, collaborator uploads stop with a clear message on their side asking them to check with you, and you get an email saying so. Your own uploads are never limited by the budget.

If the link goes somewhere it should not

The invite link is the key to your event. Treat it like one. Send it to a person, not to a group. If it leaks, press Reset link. Every copy of the old link stops working right away. People who already joined stay. You can remove anyone unwanted with one click. The photos they added remain yours.

Second shooter weddings, and the other fits

A second shooter wedding is the obvious example. We built this for other jobs too. An agency and the venue's in-house photographer might work the same reception. A conference might run two halls with two photographers. One photographer covers the rehearsal dinner while you take the ceremony. A friend brings a good camera and wants their pictures in the official album, not at half resolution in a group chat. If one person shoots the entire event, there is nothing to set up.

Frequently asked questions

Can a second shooter upload to my event?

Yes. Share the event's invite link from Add collaborators. They open the link and sign in with Google. That adds them as a collaborator. They then upload to the same album through the regular upload page.

Does a collaborator need an AccioPix account?

When they open the invite link, they must sign in with Google. That sets up a free account in one tap. They do not have to buy credits. Every photo they add to your event is billed to you.

Can a collaborator see my other events or delete photos?

No. A collaborator can only visit the events they were invited to, add photos, and look at the album. Renaming the event, editing the guest message, deleting photos, switching the cover, and inviting other people remain with the host.

How much do collaborator uploads cost?

This costs the same as your own uploads, at ₹0.20 per photo from your balance. Each event has a collaborator budget. It starts at 1,000 credits. You can raise or lower it at any time. Uploads stop when the budget or your balance runs out.

What happens if the invite link leaks?

Go to Add collaborators and click Reset link. Every copy of the old link stops working at once. People who already joined stay, and you can remove anyone from that same list.

Can guests still upload their own photos?

We retired the free guest upload link. Guests still get their photos on WhatsApp from one selfie. If a guest took photos you want in the album, invite them as a collaborator. You can also have them send the photos to you.
