Do my guests need to install an app?
No. AccioPix works entirely through WhatsApp. Guests click a link you share, send a selfie, and get their photos back in the same chat. There's no app download, no account creation, no password to forget.
Is it free to use?
Yes, you get 20 free credits when you sign up. That's enough for 100 photos. After that, it's ₹0.20 per photo with no subscription or expiration dates on your credits.
How does the face recognition work?
A guest sends a selfie through the WhatsApp link. Our AI scans your uploaded event photos, finds matches, and sends those photos back instantly. The whole process takes seconds if your event has fewer than 1,000 photos.
What happens to the selfies guests send?
The selfie is used once for face matching, then immediately deleted. It's never stored on our servers, never used to train AI models, and never shared with anyone. We only keep the event photos you uploaded.
How long does it take to receive photos?
Usually a few seconds for events under 1,000 photos. Larger events (3,000+ photos) take around 15–30 seconds while the AI scans the full set.
How much does AccioPix cost?
₹0.20 per photo processed. You buy credits upfront and they never expire. If you're hosting a full wedding day with 2,500 photos, expect to spend around ₹500.
How long are the photos stored?
One year by default. You can extend storage for another year anytime at ₹0.10 per photo. We recommend downloading your full archive after delivery so you always keep your own copy, and extending before the year is up if you'd like us to keep hosting it.
Can another photographer upload to my event?
Yes. Open Add collaborators on the event and share the invite link. Anyone who opens it while signed in can upload into the event; their photos use your credits, up to a budget you set (1,000 credits by default).
How do you pronounce AccioPix?
"AK-ee-oh-pix" (like the Harry Potter spell "Accio" + "pix").
Does AccioPix work in all countries?
Yes. As long as you have WhatsApp and internet access, AccioPix works anywhere. We accept Visa and Mastercard for international payments, so you're not limited to Indian payment methods.
How do I upload photos to AccioPix?
Sign up, create an event, and upload up to 20,000 photos in one batch. The uploader accepts JPG, PNG, and HEIC. For very large galleries on slower connections, uploading in a few smaller batches keeps things smooth.
Can I share the link on platforms other than WhatsApp?
Yes. The link works anywhere—text message, email, event invites. But guests still interact with AccioPix through WhatsApp to send their selfie and receive photos. That's where the actual delivery happens.

What if someone isn't in any photos?
They'll get a friendly message letting them know no photos were found—usually because they weren't captured in this set of photos. They can always try again with a clearer, front-facing selfie if they think they should appear.
How accurate is the face matching?
Highly accurate for clear, well-lit photos—the vast majority of guests get every photo they're in. Masks, sunglasses, heavy makeup, or very low light can occasionally affect a match, so for best results encourage guests to send a clear, front-facing selfie.
Will guests receive photos where they're in the background?
Yes—if the AI can detect their face, guests get every photo they appear in, including group shots and candids they didn't even know existed. Those are often the moments they're most delighted to receive.
Can I share a link to the entire photo gallery?
Yes. Every event has a full-gallery link where anyone you send it to can browse and download all the photos. Share the full-gallery link only with people you want to have complete access—for everyone else, the WhatsApp selfie link gives each guest just their own photos.
How many photos can I upload per event?
Up to 20,000 photos per event. If you have more, you'll need to create a second event or delete some duplicates first. Most weddings stay well under this limit.
What file formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, and HEIC (iPhone's default format). Since guests receive web-ready images, export JPEGs from your editor (Lightroom, Capture One, etc.) before uploading—the same selects you'd deliver to your client.
Can I delete an event and all its photos?
Yes. When you delete an event, we permanently remove all photos and data from our servers. This can't be undone, so make sure you've downloaded anything you want to keep first.
What counts as a "processed photo"?
Every photo you upload gets scanned by the AI and draws from your credits. At ₹0.20 per photo, uploading 500 photos uses ₹100, whether you or a collaborator uploads them.
Do credits expire?
No. Buy credits whenever, use them whenever. This isn't a subscription model where you lose access at the end of the month.
How do I add more credits?
Log in, go to your account settings, and purchase a credit bundle. We accept UPI, debit cards, and credit cards. The credits show up immediately.
What payment methods do you accept?
UPI, Visa, Mastercard, and most debit cards. If you're outside India, Visa and Mastercard work fine. We don't accept PayPal or cryptocurrency.
Is there a subscription plan?
No. It's strictly pay-as-you-go. Some event companies prefer subscriptions for predictable billing, but we don't offer that right now.
Is my event data private?
Yes. Only people with your event's WhatsApp link can request photos. We don't share your photos with third parties or use them to train AI models. When you delete an event, everything is permanently removed.
How is face matching kept private?
A guest's selfie is processed in memory to find their photos. It is never saved to disk, storage or a database, and never used to train AI. It is only compared with faces from your event's photos, never across other events, and nothing is matched until a guest sends one. Face data from your event photos is deleted when you delete the photo, the event or your account.
Can anyone with the link access all the photos?
The WhatsApp link only lets each person retrieve their own photos. The full-gallery link is different—it gives complete access, so share it only with people you want to see every photo.
Do you use my photos to train AI?
No. Your event photos are used only for face matching. They're not added to any training datasets. Same goes for the selfies—those are deleted immediately after processing.
What if I accidentally share the link publicly?
If it's the WhatsApp link, there's no harm—people can still only retrieve their own photos. If it's the full-gallery link and you'd rather it weren't out there, you can delete the event and create a fresh one.
How are photos delivered to guests?
Through WhatsApp. After a guest sends their selfie, they instantly get a preview of their photos right in the chat, plus a link to download the full-resolution HD originals.
Are the photos sent in full resolution?
The preview images sent via WhatsApp are compressed to save bandwidth. But the caption includes an HD download link where guests can grab the original quality files.
Can guests download all their photos at once?
Yes, through the HD download link sent in the WhatsApp message. It opens a page where they can download all matched photos as a zip file or individually.
Why aren't my photos uploading?
It's almost always the connection. If an upload stalls, switch to a stronger network or refresh the page, and for very large galleries on slow connections, upload in a few smaller batches.
A guest didn't receive their photos. What now?
First, check if they're actually in the event photos. If they are, ask them to send a clearer selfie—good lighting, no sunglasses, facing the camera. If it still fails, the original event photos might be too low quality for the AI.
The AI matched the wrong person. Can I fix this?
Matches are based on facial features, so occasionally a look-alike or a blurry shot can surface an extra result. Guests simply skip anything that isn't them, and sending a clearer selfie almost always sharpens the results.
Can I re-upload photos if I made a mistake?
To change the photos in an event, delete it and create a new one with your full set—re-uploading takes just a few minutes. Tip: gather all your selects before creating the event so everything lands in one place.
Why is the WhatsApp link not working?
Make sure WhatsApp is installed on the guest's phone—the link opens the chat directly. Opening it on the phone where WhatsApp is installed works best.
What types of events work best with AccioPix?
Weddings, birthdays, corporate events, conferences—anywhere there are lots of people and lots of photos. It's especially powerful for large events like a 200-guest wedding or a multi-day conference.
Can I use AccioPix for a multi-day event?
Yes, but you'll need to upload all photos to the same event. The AI doesn't separate by day or time. If you want separate albums for each day, create individual events and share different links.
Is AccioPix good for corporate events?
Yes—especially when you want attendees to grab their own conference photos without you manually sorting through 2,000 headshots. Just share the full-gallery link only with the right people, since it gives complete access.
