Privacy
Your Data, Your Control
You retain full ownership. Download your complete archive anytime, or
delete your event to instantly and permanently scrub all data from our servers. We never use your photos
for ads, sell data to brokers, or train AI models.
Secure & Encrypted
Photos are encrypted in transit and at rest. Albums are strictly
private—visible only to you and guests with the secure link. No search engine indexing. Our business is
simple: you pay for photo processing—we never mine your moments for ads or train public AI.
No. AccioPix works entirely through WhatsApp. Guests click a link you share, send a selfie, and get
their photos back in the same chat. There's no app download, no account creation, no password to
forget.
Is it free to use?
Yes, you get 20 free credits when you sign up. That's enough for 100 photos. Guest uploads don't
cost you anything. After that, it's ₹0.20 per photo with no
subscription or expiration dates on your
credits.
How do you pronounce AccioPix?
"AK-ee-oh-pix" (like the Harry Potter spell "Accio" + "pix").
Does AccioPix work in all countries?
Yes. As long as you have WhatsApp and internet access, AccioPix works anywhere. We accept Visa and
Mastercard for international payments, so you're not limited to Indian payment methods.
How do I upload photos to AccioPix?
Sign up, create an event, and upload up to 20,000 photos in one batch. The interface accepts most
image formats. If you're on slow Wi-Fi and the upload stalls, refresh the page—your progress usually
saves.
Can I share the link on platforms other than WhatsApp?
Yes. The link works anywhere—text message, email, event invites. But guests still interact with
AccioPix through WhatsApp to send their selfie and receive photos. That's where the actual delivery
happens.
How it works
How does the face recognition work?
A guest sends a selfie through the WhatsApp link. Our AI scans your uploaded event photos, finds
matches, and sends those photos back instantly. The whole process takes seconds if your event has
fewer than 1,000 photos.
What happens to the selfies guests send?
The selfie is used once for face matching, then immediately deleted. It's never stored on our
servers, never used to train AI models, and never shared with anyone. We only keep the event photos
you uploaded.
What if someone isn't in any photos?
They'll get a message saying no matches were found. This happens if they weren't photographed, or if
the photos are too blurry for the AI to recognize faces. It's not personal—it's just how face
recognition works.
How accurate is the face matching?
Pretty accurate for clear, well-lit photos. Masks, sunglasses, heavy makeup, or low lighting can
confuse the AI. If someone gets photos of the wrong person, it's usually because the event photos were
taken in poor conditions.
Will guests receive photos where they're in the background?
Yes, if the AI can detect their face. This means they might get group shots where they're barely
visible. There's no way to filter for "only close-ups" right now, which can be annoying for large
events.
Uploads and storage
Can guests upload their own photos to the album?
Yes. Every event gets a guest upload link. Share it so attendees can add their own photos. These
uploads are free and get added to the same pool that the AI searches through.
Can I share a link to the entire photo gallery?
Yes. Every event has an album link that shows the complete gallery. Anyone with this link can browse
and download all photos from the event—not just their own. Share this carefully, since there's no
password protection on the album.
How many photos can I upload per event?
Up to 20,000 photos per event. If you have more, you'll need to create a second event or delete some
duplicates first. Most weddings stay well under this limit.
How long are the photos stored?
One year by default. After that, you can extend storage for another year at ₹0.10 per photo. If you
don't extend, the photos get deleted. No exceptions, so set a reminder if you want to keep them.
What file formats are supported?
JPG, PNG, and HEIC (iPhone's default format). If you're uploading from a camera, make sure the files
aren't RAW format—those won't work and the system won't tell you until the upload fails.
Can I delete an event and all its photos?
Yes. When you delete an event, we permanently remove all photos and data from our servers. This can't
be undone, so make sure you've downloaded anything you want to keep first.
Pricing and credits
How much does AccioPix cost?
₹0.20 per photo processed. You buy credits upfront and they never
expire. Guest uploads are free. If
you're hosting a 200-person wedding with 1,000 photos, expect to spend around ₹200.
What counts as a "processed photo"?
Every photo you upload that gets scanned by the AI costs 0.2 credits. If you upload 500 photos, that's 100 credits
used. Guest uploads don't count toward your credit balance.
Do credits expire?
No. Buy credits whenever, use them whenever. This isn't a subscription model where you lose access at
the end of the month.
How do I add more credits?
Log in, go to your account settings, and purchase a credit bundle. We accept UPI, debit cards, and
credit cards. The credits show up immediately.
What payment methods do you accept?
UPI, Visa, Mastercard, and most debit cards. If you're outside India, Visa and Mastercard work fine.
We don't accept PayPal or cryptocurrency.
Is there a subscription plan?
No. It's strictly pay-as-you-go. Some event companies prefer subscriptions for predictable billing,
but we don't offer that right now.
Privacy and security
Is my event data private?
Yes. Only people with your event's WhatsApp link can request photos. We don't share your photos with
third parties or use them to train AI models. When you delete an event, everything is permanently
removed.
How is my data encrypted?
We use homomorphic encryption to process face matching. This means the AI analyzes encrypted data
without ever decrypting it—your photos stay protected even during processing. It's the same
cryptographic approach used by privacy-focused healthcare and financial systems.
Can anyone with the link access all the photos?
Not with the WhatsApp link—that only lets people send a selfie and get their own photos. But if you
share the album link, yes, anyone can browse and download the entire gallery. Treat the album link
like a password.
Do you use my photos to train AI?
No. Your event photos are used only for face matching. They're not added to any training datasets.
Same goes for the selfies—those are deleted immediately after processing.
What if I accidentally share the link publicly?
If it's the WhatsApp link, people can only retrieve their own photos—annoying, but not a privacy
disaster. If it's the album link, anyone can see everything. Delete the event and create a new one
with a fresh link if you're worried.
Delivery and quality
How are photos delivered to guests?
Through WhatsApp. After a guest sends their selfie, they get their photos sent directly in the chat
as compressed images, plus a link to download HD versions. The compressed ones are fine for Instagram
stories.
Are the photos sent in full resolution?
The preview images sent via WhatsApp are compressed to save bandwidth. But the caption includes an HD
download link where guests can grab the original quality files.
How long does it take to receive photos?
Usually a few seconds if the event has under 1,000 photos. For larger events (3,000+ photos), it can
take 15-30 seconds. If it's taking longer, the AI might be struggling with face detection in
low-quality images.
Can guests download all their photos at once?
Yes, through the HD download link sent in the WhatsApp message. It opens a page where they can
download all matched photos as a zip file or individually.
Troubleshooting
Why aren't my photos uploading?
Usually it's a Wi-Fi issue. If the upload button is grayed out or stuck, try switching to mobile data
or refreshing the page. Large batches (2,000+ photos) can time out on slow connections—upload in
smaller chunks if this keeps happening.
A guest didn't receive their photos. What now?
First, check if they're actually in the event photos. If they are, ask them to send a clearer
selfie—good lighting, no sunglasses, facing the camera. If it still fails, the original event photos
might be too low quality for the AI.
The AI matched the wrong person. Can I fix this?
Not directly. The AI makes its best guess based on facial features. If two people look similar or the
photos are blurry, it can mess up. You can't manually correct matches—guests will just have to filter
through the results themselves.
Can I re-upload photos if I made a mistake?
Yes, but you'll need to delete the event and create a new one. There's no way to replace or add
photos to an existing event after it's been created. This is annoying if you forgot a folder of
photos.
Why is the WhatsApp link not working?
Make sure WhatsApp is installed on the guest's phone. The link won't work on desktop WhatsApp Web in
some cases. If the link is completely broken, check if you accidentally deleted the event.
Use cases
What types of events work best with AccioPix?
Weddings, birthdays, corporate events, conferences—anywhere you have a lot of people and a lot of
photos. It's overkill for a 10-person dinner party, but perfect for a 200-guest wedding.
Can I use AccioPix for a multi-day event?
Yes, but you'll need to upload all photos to the same event. The AI doesn't separate by day or time.
If you want separate albums for each day, create individual events and share different links.
Is AccioPix good for corporate events?
Yes, especially if you want attendees to grab their own conference photos without you manually
sorting through 2,000 headshots. Just know that anyone with the link can access photos, so don't use
it for confidential internal meetings.
Can I use this for a photoshoot with clients?
It works, but photographers usually prefer more control over which photos go to which client.
AccioPix sends everything the AI matches, so clients might get unedited shots you didn't want them to
see.
