What a QR code album is, and what's missing from most of them
A QR code album is a printed wedding album with a QR code on the inside cover or the last page. Studios often call it a "QR code wala album". Scan it, and it opens the digital album: usually a flipbook or a folder with every photo from every function.
That folder is the problem. A 3,000-photo wedding is a lot of scrolling for a mama who only wants the photos of her own family. Most relatives give up after the first function.
With AccioPix, the QR code in the album opens a selfie page instead. Each relative takes one selfie and gets every photo they're in, from the haldi to the reception. The couple keeps the full album; everyone else gets theirs.
Your studio's name on the card, and on every page after it
The QR card carries your logo on top and your mark in the middle of the code, with the couple's names and the link. The selfie page and each relative's photos carry your logo, your Instagram and a button to book you.
Every relative who finds their photos sees who took them. That's the next booking.
How to add a QR code to a wedding album
- Upload every edited photo to one AccioPix event, all functions together, or one event per function if the album has separate sections.
- Open Share with guests, tap QR and press Download PNG. The card is 1200 pixels wide, sharp for a QR code on an album page.
- Send the PNG to your album printer with the layout. The inside cover or the last page works best; keep it at least 5 cm wide, on a light background.
- Hand over the album. Relatives scan it at the family get-together, and their photos open on their own phones.
Prefer WhatsApp? Each event also has a WhatsApp card. Relatives scan it, send a selfie in the chat, and the best photos arrive there, with a link to the rest.
What it costs, and how long the code works
You pay ₹0.20 per photo uploaded, once. A 2,500-photo wedding is about ₹500. Relatives scanning it cost you nothing more. Your first 100 photos are free.
The QR code itself never expires. The album behind it is hosted for a year, and you can extend it for ₹0.10/photo. That matters for a printed album that sits on a shelf for decades: extend it, or tell the couple when it ends.

QR code album FAQs
What is a QR code album?
A printed wedding album with a QR code inside. Scanning it opens the photos on a phone. With AccioPix, it opens a selfie page, so each relative gets only the photos they're in.
Will the QR code stop working?
The code never expires. The album it opens is hosted for one year, and you can extend it.
Can I put my studio's logo on it?
Yes, free. Set up Your brand once: your logo goes on the QR card, the selfie page and every relative's photos, with your Instagram and a Book button.
Do relatives need an app?
No. They scan the code with the phone camera and take a selfie in the browser. Those who prefer WhatsApp can use the WhatsApp card instead.
Do relatives get full-quality photos?
Yes. They download the original files, one by one or all together.
How is this different from a flipbook QR?
A flipbook shows the couple's album as a book. This finds each person's own photos across the whole wedding. Many studios will want both: the flipbook for the couple, the selfie QR for the family.
One QR code in the album. Every relative finds their photos.
