Logo

White is for dark backgrounds, photos and Instagram stories; black for light pages and documents. Every version keeps the transparency.

How far from the background colour a pixel can be and still be removed. Raise it if a pale halo is left; lower it if parts of the logo go too.

The holes in letters like O and A are background too. In a colourful logo only small pockets are cleared, so white shapes in the design stay.

For a badge logo: a square or rectangle of colour that is part of the design. White and black backgrounds are always removed.

Cuts the file to the logo's edges, so it lines up wherever you place it.

How it works

Your browser does all of it: no upload, no account, and no watermark of ours on your logo.

1

Drop the logo

A PNG, JPG, WebP or SVG, or paste one you copied. The colour around the edge is read first: white, black or one flat colour means a plain background.

2

The background goes

It is removed working inwards from the edges, so white inside the design stays, and soft edges keep their anti-aliasing instead of a jagged outline. The holes inside letters are cleared too; tap any patch that's left.

3

Save the versions you need

A transparent PNG in its own colours, a white one, a black one, or all three at once, trimmed to the logo and saved at full size.

100% private. Your logo never leaves this device. There is nothing to delete afterwards, because nothing was ever sent.

Transparent, white or black: which one where

Keep the logo in its own colours on your website and on light pages. Use the white version anywhere dark: over photos, in Instagram stories and reels, on a dark website header. Use the black one on invoices, contracts and printed paper. A logo saved only as a JPG in a white box works in none of these, which is why the first job is always the transparent PNG.

For photographers: one logo, everywhere

A photography logo does most of its work small: in the corner of a delivered photo, on a phone screen, in a profile picture. The white version is usually the one you'll use on photos. To put it on a whole folder at once, press Use it as a watermark and the watermark maker opens with it ready; how to watermark photos covers size and placement. With AccioPix, the same logo goes on the album your guests open, beside your Instagram, so the people at the wedding know where to find you next.

Frequently asked questions

How do I remove the background from a logo?

Drop the logo into the tool above. The plain background around it is removed automatically and you get a transparent PNG. If a patch is left, such as the inside of a letter, tap it to clear it too.

How do I make a logo transparent for free?

Drop it in and press Download PNG. It is free, with no sign-up, no limit and no watermark of ours, and the logo never leaves your device.

How do I make a white version of my logo?

Choose White under Save as. Every visible part of the logo turns white and the transparency is kept, which is what you want on dark backgrounds, over photos and in Instagram stories. Black works the same way for light backgrounds, and All three saves the original, white and black versions together.

Does it work with a JPG logo?

Yes. A JPG can't be transparent, which is why the logo sits in a white box. The box is removed working inwards from the edges, so white inside the design stays.

Why did the inside of my letters stay white, or disappear?

In a one-colour logo, every part close to the background colour is cleared, including the holes in letters like O and A. In a colourful logo only small enclosed pockets are, so a white shape that belongs to the design stays. Untick Clear inside letters to keep them all, or tap one pocket to clear just that.

What if my logo is on a photo or a gradient?

This tool removes plain backgrounds: white, black or one flat colour. For a logo photographed on paper or set on a picture, use the AI background remover instead.

Can I upload an SVG?

Yes. It is drawn 2,000 pixels wide (or tall), so it stays sharp, and saved as a transparent PNG.

Is my logo uploaded?

No. Everything runs in your browser, on your own device. The file is never sent anywhere.
